Located in the pine forests on the crest of Soğuksu, which faces Trabzon, the building was built by Kostantin Kabayanidis as a summer resort in 1890. The building, which has the impacts of European and Western Renaissance architecture, uses large and flamboyant European symbols. The exterior of the pavilion shows stonemasonry and the interior façade is designed in Baghdadi technique. The floors were also covered with tiles of the period as the impact of the same movement.
